Speed up your PC with one click
December 9th, 2006. Filed under: TipsYou can create easily a file on your desktop that will, upon double click, clear up Windows memory. This makes your PC run a little faster, having less system tasks. The instructions are simple.
1. Right click on your desktop>>New>>Shortcut
2. Type this into the location box (without the quotation marks)
“%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks”
3. Click Next. Name the file anything you want. Eg: Panic Button! Click OK.
4. Just double click that file anytime and it will filter out idle processes.
