Spotlights! Smoke machines! Lasers! Whatever that gets your attention. Pay close attention as I tell the universe of my brand spanking new iPod nano.

But first: I only bought it because it was $40 cheaper than retail price. Of course, its a refurbished unit but it still works just as great as a new one. So I’m writing this post to show you that its perfectly fine to opt for refurbished alternatives.

It arrived in my postbox a week after I ordered it online, free shipping and all. The packaging was so minimalistic it makes so much sense. It only said ‘iPod’ top, and it thrust me into a world where everything is massively mass-produced.

I opened it and straight away it shows me the good stuff. It understands me so well. If only some people I know are like that..

The unit itself is perfectly enclosed in a clear plastic wrapping, which warned me not to steal music. Then I said “I am the master of you so shut up”.

Everything that the purchase included. Cable, earphones, earbuds, dock, instructions. All new and untouched. Cool.

Plugging it into my Macbook, I feel like its a new baby in my Mac family. They got along with each other so well. The setup process was quick and easy, like any Mac product. Take a hint aleady! Switch to Mac!!!

I’ve been using it for a week and it showed no signs of flaws or issues. Just like that, I saved USD40, making this one the best bargains I’ve ever had.

And then I found out they are releasing a brand new iPod soon.

    3. iPod nano is very good as a walkaround mp3 player. my only complaint is that the included headphones lack good bass. I replaced it with the Sennheiser CX-300 and the sound was awesome.
