    A must-read 300 parody

March 25th, 2007. Filed under: Humour

It would help if you have seen the movie before.
Long ago, in days of old, there once was the kingdom of Sparta, home of the greatest warriors in the world.

One day, a Persian messenger arrived on really slow horses, so slow they were practically in slow-motion. The messenger sought the ruler of Sparta, King Letightanus to bear a message from Emperor Jerkxes.

Day 40 in the land of American States

March 7th, 2007. Filed under: Blog

Whoa. It was that long. Sorry I didn’t update for awhile, I had things to do aplenty.

How am I? I’m fine, good, great, excellent, awesometastic! To cut it all short, whatever expectations you might have for this place, though a little unrealistic, might actually be almost true. Man, that was the most redundant statement ever.

Well, the weather here is pretty cold, its winter after all. Where I am, in Maryland, it is not snowy every day, it fluctuates. And when it does snow, it is not necessarily the coldest. It is the wind that makes it real cold, colder than windless snow days. There was this one time when all classes were canceled due to snow. Sweet!

The people here are generally friendlier than in Malaysia I dare to say. If you go to a 7-11 in Malaysia, you’d probably hear nothing more than a ‘thank you’. You can imagine the comparison I would make in the following sentence so I’ll just skip that. By the way, the KFC here is 2900610.37 times better than in Malaysia, though about twice as expensive.

    Samurai sword!

If you figured out from my previous post, I am trying to make some money off the internet to ease my expenditures. Morpheed.com is a small start but there are more methods than you can possibly know. Speaking of cash, the smallest standard mobile phone package is $40 (RM150) a month. But it gives you unlimited night and weekend calls and stuff.

Everyone facebooks! It’s like the Friendster of USA, but better. Less ads, more usability. Facebook me!

Stay tuned for a video I shall make about my life here.
