Arrival 2007
January 26th, 2007. Filed under: BlogI have made my grand entry into the United States, its almost been a week and life (or rather problems) have just begun. I don’t want to be too detailed here so I’ll just say what I feel like saying.
First off, my flight was incredibly boring, aside from the fact that I watched The Departed, which was a great movie. My lips have been cracking from then til now. Its so dry here, and I have to drink water from the tap or buy expensive bottled water. Its pretty weird having to drink off the toilet tap, but I have no choice.
My room is really small. Its small enough without my roommate who hasn’t arrived yet. Its so not fair, I pay the same amount as the others do and I HAPPEN to get the darn corner room. It’s currently a bit messy so I’ll take a picture of it later. For now, I have these for you to enjoy.

This is from the inside of Incheon Airport, Seoul. The airport is pretty nice, well designed and laid out. I couldn’t buy anything there though, everything was in Korean Won. So I had to rely on the water fountains and in-flight meals.

I took this when I arrived at a hotel after reaching Baltimore. The cold air I felt upon first stepping out of the airport was exhilirating. I haven’t got tired of it yet. I love the cold. But I can’t take cold showers, ironic.
I have more photos but I didn’t bother uploading them, they were’t worthy. Well, thats all I would say for now. Oh, and its mildly snowing here. Loving it.
learn la to drink water from the tap. when you come back to Malaysia, you will realise that you were deprived of clean, drinkable tap water for 20 years of your life.
