There is no such thing as XMas
December 23rd, 2006. Filed under: BlogNo, there really isn’t. Whenever you hear about XMas, just remember that it does not exist. Christmas, however, is coming soon.
The word ‘XMas’ is merely an incorrect short form of ‘Christmas’ that has been popularized through commercial use. Truth be told, whenever you use that short form, its like you replace Christ with something else.
Christ is a real person, the son of man and the son of God. How would you like it if someone called you ‘X’? Now, I wish not for any religious fanatics attacking me; but Jesus is the true meaning of Christmas and it should be the only reason it is celebrated.
Merry Christmas.

christmas originally was a pagaen holiday. look it up. o don’t know the details. jesus is great. but you should know the true history of christmas

December 24th, 2006 at 11:25 amRegardless of history, my point stands. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the priceless gift from God, and nothing else. Xmas is Christmas without Christ hence the use of that word brings Christ out of the picture.

January 4th, 2007 at 3:07 pmIt may be so, but not everybody knows that. The usage of the word ‘xmas’ reflects the fact that people are leaving out Christ in the whole celebration.
