So you're saying that the fight rests in the hands of the Americans themselves? Of course, but I only aim to let the locals know about this if they haven't.

Still, any entity that attempts to assume control over the internet in even small ways is susceptible to controversy. The internet belongs to the people. Thanks for your input, Noor Hidayat. Appreciate it.

Problem with Net Neutrality will affect us, but we will not have the power to do anything about it. Why? Because Net Neutrality is something that is conceived by the "owner" of the Internet, America. If you notice, most of the contents that everyone surf in is hosted in America, hence why we have so many high speed submarine cables to America. It's really up to the American people to do their part to keep Internet free.

As for our Malaysian government, I doubt they can do anything about it. Why? Because our ISPs don't really have any power to do it as it requires them to get paid by big domains that would probably not realize that Malaysia is even on Earth.

What does Net Neutrality do? Well, it limits bandwidth to certain domains and makes it slower/faster depending on how much those domain pay the ISP. Then again... it's not as if our ISP do any great job at making our surfing experience good right?
