  • Bill Gates took 90 minutes, I took 10

December 3rd, 2006. Filed under: Blog

I stumbled upon this puzzle in Digg. The story is that Bill Gates as a young chap was among some people pondering over a dice puzzle given by some dude. See the full story and puzzle here.

It got me confounded for awhile until I considered some consistencies. Ten minutes later I figured it out; I’m not saying I’m smarter than Bill Gates or anything. Apparently some other diggers also solved it in 5 or 10. Also, this puzzle is supposedly harder for smarter people, according to one of the comments in the digg page. Arguable, that one.

Go see it for yourself. If you’re having trouble, remember the name of the game: Petals Around the Rose.

By the way I also found this other mystery that you can try solving yourself. This one is the real deal so don’t expect to get the answer at all.

    1. I found it funny to see that he took 90 min to solved it. Given that you take 10 min, which is good.

So, my next question will be…. how long will it takes u to reach millionaire status like him. :p

      Enjoy ur weekend.
