Education: the American Advantage
October 29th, 2006. Filed under: ArticlesEver considered The United States as the destination for your graduation? Perhaps you are weighing your choices, possibly with UK and Australia. If you’re nearing the end of your secondary education, its high time you start thinking your tertiary education. I’m here to tell you what I know about the benefits of studying in the USA.
Number one: flexibility. One of the things that sets American education systems apart is the integrated flexibility. Schools, colleges and universities basically use a system in which various subjects are offered and can be taken with little regard to order. Most majors share certain subject requirements with others, allowing for more time for consideration and change of mind. In other words, the switching of majors of choice is somewhat easier. Not to mention the abundance of study areas and degrees, virtually almost any topic under the sun.
Number two: background. Its the United States of America. Its currency recognized everywhere, its language understood worldwide, its infrastructure top-class. Heck, why wouldn’t you want to go there? USA accounts for most of Western influences that reaches the likes of Malaysia and some Asian nations. The final frontier! The place to be! The American dream! Well, fine I’d probably assert excessively at this point but think about it.
Number three: employment. Would you argue if I said USA is the land of opportunities? Graduate there, get a good job, get your working visa, and you’re on your way. Needless to say, its easier said than done. You either research for growing workforce demands or pursue your dreams to very last drop of sweat. The American borders might be a little tighter of late but just keep a clean slate and you’ll be fine.
That’s three things I can say for now. Just consider USA. Ask yourself: why not?
