My first medal ever in my miserable life
May 23rd, 2006. Filed under: PicturesLast saturday, I bagged myself a medal. Well, in a team game actually so I didn’t do all the work by myself. With Chun Keng and Choi Wan, I went for my first scrabble (fine, call me a nerd) competition ever. It was at the Sports Festival at YMCA. We got ourselves to the finals without even losing once, all three of us. Then we had to face St. Francis Xavier Church (who came in uniform shirts) and lost 2-1. I got lucky to have faced an easier opponent (says Chun Keng) so I can’t really boast about snagging the only win in the finals.
Ah, who cares. I still got a medal! I never win anything before! Except for a rectangular glass cup from a drama competition which my mum turned into a vase and cheap-ass trophy for getting six miserable As for SPM. Anyway, here it is.

Yeah, it’s silver. Sigh. I’ll get my gold next year. Next year I say!!
haha. congrats weih! oh, how was the carrom teammm ?
