This is part four of a short story I’ve written as a college assignment. I had a pretty good score so I thought you guys might enjoy it.

A glimpse of Bukit Sri Persekutuan

December 29th, 2005. Filed under: Pictures

Upon sending a friend, Christopher Wong, back, I took the oppurtunity to visit the newly-built residence for the rich and the filthy (rich).

Ooh aah bleh

According to him, an apartment costs RM1.2 million, a bungalow RM4 million, and the penthouse RM3 million as well. The penthouse, that takes the entire floor and has a pool of its own, is obviously for the filthy (rich).

The not-so-deep swimming pool

The roofed area to the left is what Chris calls a ‘park thaw’ area. Judging by the setting of that place, I couldn’t agree more.

The road to the park thaw area

Though the place was already available for sale or rent, you can still hear construction noises above. Also, the lifts are not too welcoming, though I was assured it was safe before i stepped in.

Then he showed me his apartment. The first thing I noticed was the huge door.

Challenging heights

The apartment itself is roomy, well-built and pretty much quaint. Nothing to gasp about here. The view shouldve been nice but they are still replanting some…. plants.

In the Christmas mood

That’s all the photos I took; drove home after that. The wierd thing was I ended up at Jalan Duta next to Pusat Bandar Damansara when I went to the direction of Muzium Negara from Bangsar… it’s like going one big circle. Oh well, I’m home and that’s all that matters. Gosh my room is small.

Boxing day boxing

December 26th, 2005. Filed under: Blog

I’m bored!!!!! Gaaaahhh!!!! This is no way to spend the day after Christmas. I should be erm… well… yeah you know. Whatever.

I spent all day playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This game makes me drive slower in real life. Ironic, the fact that a videogame that lets you go wild and violent actually causes me to be more careful on the road. So on boxing day, I boxed people. Badabump-bish.

-We’ll be right back after these messages-
Watch a guy doing Numanuma
Then read all about him
-And now, back to Justin’s blog-
I bought Furniture’s album today; the same one in my Christmas wish list. I’d probably write a proper review later but for now, let me just say that this is something that local indie artistes must match in terms of quality and effort.Coming back to my boredom *insert word which I forgot*, I watched Big Fish and played Dota again after about a month of *insert another word which I forgot*. Big Fish was unique, in my opinion. Thing is, Ewan McGregor looks too old to play an eighteen year old boy. Heck, I’M 18. Nice movie anyways. Dota was… well… Dota.If you’re all wondering what I’m gonna do with my hair after all that voting, I have decided to just use extra conditioner and moisturizer for the time being. If that fails to make my hair look better, I will seek professional advice. To save some cash, I’d go to BU and find a not so exhorbitant place. Thanks Yee Teng!Oh, I forgot. A joke-off took place between me and Jia Liang. The person who manage to make the other laugh through some lame joke or other, gets a point. In the span of three days, the score is 8-8. He’s running dry, I have a few more up my sleeve. Jia, if you’re reading this, BRING IT.

Here’s an example:

What’s white and cannot climb trees? A fridge.

Badabump-bish

I’m planning to change my blog background but the thing is I’m afraid that it will look too ego. Here’s a sneak peek.

As my readers, it is YOU who would mind if it looks too self-centered and stuff. I’m at a loss here. Any opinions?

Christmas Christmas Christmas

December 24th, 2005. Filed under: Blog

Sorry for the absence, I was busy with this year’s Bangsar Christmas production: the portrait of Christmas. It was a blast! We had Actor’s Studio Bangsar filled to the brim on both nights. This year, I get to play the guitar, sing in the choir and play the role of a wise man. Tiring but what fun! I get to do a British accent and make people laugh; I’ve always wanted to do a comedy. Got my wish. :D

Myself, Christine, Angie, Winston, Ju Ean and Lin Yi

It’s not everyday that I get to dress like Il Divo. And it was the first time I used hair gel in eons. Khong Su Ann said that I looked too smart. Guess people ain’t used to a tidy me. But me having combed hair has a price: it reveals my huge forehead.Gosh my head is big. I’m hating it.

But all in all these productions are always good experience. I look forward to it every year, next to the annual youth camp. Still, none were as big as the X-Child 2003. The tickets were cheaper, the story deeper, the choir pieces longer, the nights longer, everything. Oh well, this year’s has a good effect anyway, thanks to prayer.

A bunch of people and a rastafarian wannabe

Today, for Christmas eve, Li San, Choi Lin and myself went to Delicious for lunch! Mmmmm delicious….

Then I went Christmas shopping for the first time, at least I think its the first time. I rarely get gifts for friends so…. if you didn’t get anything from me, blame it on my youth. We then bumped into Winston and Wan. What a delightful surprise! Then we bumped into Pat Woo and Colin Ng! Christmas is magical after all. Also due to the fact that we found parking at Bangsar as easy as 124.Well I’m off to continue my Christmas eve by taking an undeserved nap. Merry Christmas!
