This is the continuing series entitled ‘The Adventures of Richard and Rashid’, the story of a British commissioner, Richard O’ Reily, who sailed to Malaya to educate an accidental Public Affairs Minister, Rashid bin Razak, in order to establish relations between the two worlds in the 18th Century.

Two months after they first met…

Richard: Well then, let’s carry on with your lessons, right after I sip this delightful cup of tea. *Slurp* Ah, amourous aroma. By the way, this is called.. tea. Can you say ‘tea’?

Rashid : Teh.

Richard: No, no, no… Tea.

Rashid : Teh.

Richard: Teeeeaaaaaaaa…..

Rashid : Teh.

Richard: Grrr… Oh, nevermind. Shall we begin with today’s word? It’s patriotism. Can you say patriotism?

Rashid : Patriotisme.

Richard: No, not patriotismay.. Its Pa-trio-ti-sm.

Rashid : Patriotisme.

Richard: Pa-trio-ti-sm.

Rashid : Patriotisme.

Richard: PA-TRIO-TI-SM

Rashid : Patriotisme.

Richard: GAAAAAAAAA!!!
